Opsable is the Business Operating System that connects your people, processes and profits. Before you dive into orders, projects, and invoices, it helps to spend a few minutes getting your workspace set up correctly. This guide walks you through the essentials.
When you first sign up, Opsable prompts you to create a workspace for your organization. Give it your company name and pick a short slug — this becomes the home base every team member logs into.
Everything in Opsable lives inside your workspace: clients, orders, teams, files, and settings. You can belong to more than one workspace, but most businesses only ever need one.
Head to the Team section and invite colleagues by email. Each person receives a link to join your workspace. You can assign roles as you invite them, so people land with the right level of access from day one.
Start with the people who will use Opsable daily — you can always add more later, and there is no need to onboard everyone at once.
Set your business details, time zone, and branding so invoices and client-facing pages look professional. Then decide which modules you want to switch on first — clients and orders are a good place to begin.
Once the basics are in place, you are ready to bring in your real work. The next few guides cover clients, orders, rostering, and invoicing in detail.
